Planning a long journey.

Hi I'm going on the longest journey so far in my commer this August. I'm off to beautiful days and I can't wait. It's the first time that I will be sleeping in my commer at this festival as I normally camp, but I've persuaded my other half and in the commer we go. I know the usual checks, oil, tyre pressure, water in the radiator and check the battery terminals. Is there anything else I should do before I embark on a long journey? My nipple will get anothe squirt of grease aswell.

if you have them a spare set of rad hoses, fan belt, large bottle of water and a basic set of spanners and an RAC OR AA card is normally all i take :D
 
Thanks Steve, I've got some basic tools that I keep in my van. I've got a spare fan belt and the waters easy.just some rad hoses.

Leave the food at home then:)

I always carry a can of fuel (but use it before it goes off)

Other useful items are, welder, lathe, anvil, milling machine and some jump leads ;)

Sorted out the fuel line, it's not close to the fan. No need for a bible Jim.... Natures my religion.[pre][/pre]:)
