Does anyone know what sort of value i should insure her for.
I didnt pay to much for her but at the same time if anything happend to her id be gutted.
Prices on ebay and such like are very varied
 
HE looks like a nice van [^]does he have a name?no plate suggests Rej :DRan Is insured for a max of 3.500 I am glad you asked as I thought I had agreed value!!that's 2 reasons not to use the same company next time!!
 
I had no name for her but know you mention it rej is a good name i suppose i could refer to her as a him.
The kids had started to call her dipsy not sure why.
 
hi loz Rej looks lovely.[^] My Skye is insured for 3000 and has an agreed value.:D Im with Heritage fully comp. Any luck with getting him tax exempt[?] I see he is the same reg as mine. Skye was registered on 6th April 1973 but was manufactured in Nov 72. so she is tax exempt now:):)
 
Looks fairly origonal on the bodywork, all the flutes present and correct. so should have an insurance value of £3-4000. :)
 
No luck as yet with dating him,i had no log book so waiting for one to be sent by DVLA.As far as i know the log book will say 1973, but hopfully manufactured in 72 this would be a great saving.
The body work is all origonal and i have all new doors and back doors front bumbers side sills if anything goes wrong.
 
Wow, looks wonderful - if we do manage to meet up somewhere, I may have to park Bessie a small distance away from Dipsy Rej as my bodywork a little shamed by how good yours looks.[8D]

Letters 'ej' in registration would suggest that it was from Carmarthen area originally - so yours has Welsh origins:)
 
yes ej is camarthen area its been locall from new,only had 3 previous owners with 29000 miles on her,
Just trying to decide if i should replace the doors as there is rust at the bottom, or to get them repaired, i think this is a common problem
 
Wow, is this the one that was in a garage for ten years [?] Looks superb 'Barn find' of the year you lucky, lucky chap [^] Is the interior as tidy as the outside.

Me and kids off to Spain tomorrow for a week. Dont think i will find any commers but my son has his camera at the ready for some topless smashers of the female kind lol[8D][8D]
 
Just make sure he posts any pictures he takes on here, of Commers of course [}:)];)
