This was the very nice chap I was telling you about - who I have forgotten his name :I Oh no I haven't, it was Vince or Vinny i'm sure!!

He is from Liverpool and has been a member for years from what I was told but has always read from afar! I wasn't up early enough (clear headed enough) to sneak a peak around his van on Sunday morning! - A very nice guy though :)

yes, his name is Vinny.....nice chap who has been following the forum for about 5 years he said and was too shy to join us!
He knew exactly who we all are and van names etc!!!

Sorry, missed a couple of days. 586 mile round trip all under own steam. Engine oil and water all still full but rear diff needs the oil seal doing, took about 300ml over the trip to keep it topped up. We found after 2hrs the van really needed a cool down so survival was probably based on fairly regular stops and getting cramp in my leg from not flooring it. Top speed 63.5mph according to the sat nav (but nearly 70 on the speedo) but mainly cruised at 55-60mph. Loads of cool photos and vids to catch up on, we haven't got many but will try and post some.
