Looking so much better with the new paint, nearly there! Don't forget to paint them wheels up, they'll make a big difference to the finish.

Havent done any new coats since my last update.Just researching exhaust options and trial fixing the new bling 'just to see' what it will look like when he is all finished:D

Hi all just another update.

No, I havent finished but I have put Percy back together for a trip this weekend. He needs another 2 coats on the cab and the rest flattend back for the final coat but I dont think he looks too bad for a one nighter;) Then because I havent got a weekend off for another 6 weeks he wont be going anywhere so will get finished. Not to bad for a £100 paint job I think[:0]

One mirror on so far from Ratsport-currently fabricating a spacer for the other clamp on mirror.Mini style indicators/sidelights replaced the old Wipac ones.Chrome grill surround still to go on from commerchris but I need to aquire so clear cable ties so Percy doesnt lose these ones.Upper grill just drying off after a coat of paint to go on later.Oh and a 'lucky dice' if you can spot it.:I

Do you have to throw a six to start? [}:)]

'It's not a proper slider'

So far he has started everytime the key has turned-except when the battery went flat after the winter lay up.

Percy looks superb, a real credit to your hard work. I particularly like the detail touches like the blue gutter. :p

The blue gutter is going in favour of white- I did it in blue to see what it looks like but we arent too keen so when I get a chance its going to be repainted

Spent this afternoon fitting new front damper top mount bushes that failed on the MOT.

Its nice to know that you dont need to take off the springs to change the dampers one day in the future.

Big thanks to Martin for the bushes that arrived at an unbelievable rate on knots.

The electrics are due for my attention tommorow:D

Very nice, an inspiration to us all :D

Especially me, it was reading this thread that kick started me into getting ours done.
