No destruction certificate has been issued so now I shall wait and see if the V5C arrives as the seller sent it off to the DVLA.

hello I am extremely stressed at the comments being posted here ,I did this as a favour and seems to have backfired on me ,never again shall I OFFER TO HELP SOME ONE out .I did speak to beach boy on the day and texted him some time after and I spoke to him about the purchase of a terpaulin and also to the guy who helped me load it which i purchased dowm the road from where I picked it , Im sorry if this has caused some consternation but if beach boy cares to contact me on my mobile or home no as on previous posting Ishall only be too pleased to speak to him .SORRY DIDNT realise that you had sent me email as dont read them often

No it has not turned up, and it now seems that the vendor never had it anyway and simply wrote to DVLA to say I was the new keeper....which will never produce a V5, strange that was`nt in the listing where it stated that he had the old style V5. I have been well and truly shafted.
