At last I've managed to get some beautiful beige cellulose mixed up. I think he has made an excellent job of tinting it and all for just £60 for 2.5 liters. (for the colour blind it's the little square bit in the middle of the darker bit ;)). For those zooming in that isn't the finished prep lol

Just to cover up exposed metal Andrew as I haven't got any where to keep him indoors. I have to do a bit at a time then I brush paint celly over the top until the next time when I have to sand it all off and start again. it's very time consuming but it will be worth it I hope
 
I know I spoke about Wedgwood blue when we met up at the show panky but I can't bring myself to take away all the patina inside the cab (obviously whilst having to bring the blue inside)

I know what you mean as i painted my old van outdoors, I'd do lots of work and then i had to re prepare because of the elements. Worth it in the end though.
 
I recently saw a thread on a moggy minor site where someone had brush/roller painted their moggy with coach paint using this stuff : http://www.craftmasterpaints.co.uk/


Anyone tried that? the car looked great- he said it's not up to a pro standard but then it only cost him £100, and he now has loads of touch-up paint.

I've seen a few cars roller painted with amazing glass-like results. Quite tempted.

I used a roller and brush on my old van, the finish was pretty good.
 
You can paint a van with a brush/roller. For best results you will have to use a good quality roller and a camel hair brush. Any paint jobs is only as good as the prep work. I once had a Volvo Ailsa that was painted with a brush and you could not tell it had been brush painted.:):):):)
