overdrive relay

Can anybody tell me the correct Lucas 6R relay that I need for an overdrive gear box (there seems to be a few diferent types) [?]

i don,t think it matters jimmy, as a relay is just a heavy duty switch. but if you want it i have a 6RA one you are welcome to

I think there are differences depending whether on whether you have a self cancelling switch or not. The one I got from Speedies didn't work very well with a self cancelling switch so I got a proper one instead.

The switch that I am using is an MG overdrive on of switch

i have that set-up on the j4, but i am running without a relay
