Overdrive gearbox

It will bolt straight on but..............
Because it's out of an Arrows range car it will be canted over to one side and the bell housing is longer so it sits further back. Sunbeam Sam fitted one like this and managed to get it in - just, by bending the gearstick and adjusting the linkage to the extreme of it's measurement. Swapping the input shafts over, so you can use the Commer bellhousing is possible but it means a complete strip-down of both gearboxes to swap the various components over - best wait for an earlier version that fits without modification me thinks;)

That doesn't sound too hard...

Would one also have to modify the propshaft, make a supporting bracket and adjust the speedo arrangement on both versions Mr. Panky?

Ended! Some correct ones do come up, got mine some what rebuilt for £250 with drive shaft, made up the wiring myself. To be honest better with a Lexus 6 speed only issue being that you don't get a funky lever to flick :)

Hasta la supervista baby
