Thanks Panky, all sounds easy when you say it - I'm sure our reality will be more challenging but I'm learning all the time I've found up your prop details, 32.25 inches (which I make 819.15mm)

'Ours' is the first 2 section propshaft I've seen and at 1390mm it seems way too long, so I'm wondering whether the shorter section can just be removed to provide a total length around 819mm. I'm assuming (with my non-mechnical head on) that the UJ's setup should allow this ?

Not yet purchased this prop so will ask vendor for additional measurements, price is fair but postage basically doubles the cost so I'd rather not gamble.

That sounds like it, fit the flange that attaches to the diff straight onto the front section UJ [^]

Reading this with interest, it's a job for Smurf in the spring...should be relatively straight forward as it's coming from one commer to another...
