Wonderful to see pics - looks very promising and original, reckon will come up a treat.

Tweaked yer links a bit to get photos to show - from Flickr - if you left click & 'copy image location' then past that in between tags then you'll be spot on ;):)

Looks like a nice little van and not in too bad condition from the look of the photo's :D

Looking forward to reading more about this one :D

Cazz... had a lucky break to become Graduate commerade!!!!

Thankyou studiocommer for your help in getting the pictures onto the site , didn't know how to and now all can see that we have got ourselves a very original commer campervan that would have probably been broken up for spares or worse " destroyed " .. will keep everyone updated with progress of the work we do to her and look forward to meeting other members along the way !!

You're very welcome - pleasure to see them. Very interesting bit of ground that, looking at stuff seen through windscreen.

Interior looks very original - has extra little drawer and shelfy bit compared to mine. Seems like might be suffering from damp? side windows can be notorious for leaking so worth catching as such a nice original space :)

That's a very very nice van you have there, absoulutely lovely. The bodywork looks very sound; makes me shudder to think that it could have been broken up. Just a bit of elbow grease and that will be wowing the crowds. I see yours is an early Autosleeper. The unit on the left has a lower section, I've not seen that before.

Good luck with it and make sure you keep us up to date with your progress :)

im loving those extra little draws and compartments by the gear stick, ive never seen one like that before.:p

Neat looking van:D

Suprised Mr Woolfy hasn't asked for more distant shots of the other rusty cars around it....Woolfy has a ''thang''for rust lol

Seriously looks like an interesting place

very nice. Just get it running and roll as is!

yeah I'd like some piccies of the surrounding projects please!

Were any of the other old vehicles for sale? I presume its where you bought it from, or are they all yours too[?]

No,only the commer is mine , got to many other classics on the go at the moment , the other cars are for sale (except the landrover seen through the windscreen) at a classic car breakers called Barclay Classics in Pontaberam , I was driving past and saw the commer there and had to buy it straight away . The pictures are of the camper on the site and awaiting me to retrieve it within the next couple of days so we can make a start on it properly . Just waiting to get my '63 victor fb deluxe into fresh paint and out of my garage so the commer can be put undercover until it's ready for the road .. You can get the details of Barclay Classics off the Web or the 'Bay if you wan't to visit the site yourself ( BarclayClassics.com )hope this helps ..
