Our new commer highwayman

Hi just to say I could not log in today to commervanfan through my normal way it says we need a password and mine does not seem to work, I had to go round a different way to get in, has anything changed on the site please, thanks Lynne.

Hello Folks, hope you're keeping OK(U) -been missing your updates:(.

Finally managed to catch up with Klix owners after long summer of missing each other - (various aging parents dotted about the landscape in need of preservation work;)) Got some pics of their table for you - sadly there wasn't one in the scrap highwayman as interior far to weather damaged[V]

Stows behind the seat backs when not in use - has metal legs which fold out to be freestanding. Follows the same principle as the autosleeper where table top is same width as gap between seats so it can sit between bench seats to form double bed base.

Hope this makes some sense, should be possible to rig something up to look the part if one doesn't turn up anywhere.

Hopefully will be another visit out to scrap van soon so they will have another nose for taps for you - printed out your thread which they found really interesting[8)]

might be worth searching ebay for table,I search through classic caravan stuff on occasions,sure I saw a fold up table on there a few days ago,maybe if you can get the table for it's legs and make a top to fit?

I'm looking for a table as well - with the bent legs - so if you find two, please let me know.

I can get dimensions for table top if required when I next see Klix folks - but table only fills gap between seats to make bed base when down so easy enough to measure if you have a Highwayman to hand but happy to get sizes if being made by someone who doesn't have such things dotted about the place;)
