Its a strange phenoninum (spelt that very wrong) but you go camping in this weather and you moan n groan about the cold/damp etc, etc BUT! the minute you get home you can't wait to do it again....hmm, warm soup, crusty bread, candle light, that unexplainable camping gas smell....the cosiness, the cuddliness, NO poxy TV .....NO day to day worries .....just yourselves , and simple pleasures that we all take for granted .....oh god, life doesn't get much better than a Commer van......the ONLY thing better is going to a Commer meet and sharing it with loike moinded folks![8D][8D]

Why does the season have to be over?
All you need is warm clothing a decent interior heater, gas or electric, some insulated blinds and curtains and off you go!
There are plenty of sites open all year round with hardstanding pitches and hook up available.
If you dont to camp overnight whats to stop a day trip to the coast with your own mobile hotel, keeps the vans running as well!
Get out there and enjoy

been a long time since i posted.
took him over the pennines to foul ridge before xmas and stopped over night next to my sisters narrow boat. it was freezing but wonderful. slept over night at a friends on new years eve after a party was a bit warmer we had him all conected up to electrics with a fan heater but didnt really need it. probably the drink kept us warm.
have put 4 new tyres on him and started to paint over the grey. needs a few more coats but is looking good with bright red wheels and polished hub caps too.
will post pics soon.
no regrets at all and once ive fixed his exhaust we will be out again
cant wait
