Oil in air filter

Finally started to get my hands dirty on our Commer ...

On changing the air filter I found it was badly clogged with oil. I'm not sure when it was last changed but is this 'normal' ?

I cleaned out the filter housing, fitted a new filer and also a new flame trap. Planning to blast some carb cleaner through next weekend to clean out any residual in the carb internals but hoping the filter has done its job. Is there is anything else I should check or do ?

I've tweaked the carb settings and got the emissions to a seemingly respectable 2.06 on CO2 - how does this sound ?

hi paul, co2 sounds slightly weak, 2.5-3.5 is stoichiometricly correct . oil in the filter is normal as the crankcase breather vents straight back into the inlet [:0], this is done for emission reasons

I prefer to pull the breather and let it out underneath[:0]
