Update for you!
Spent the whole day with this van today....and I know you will all complain, I forgot to take my camera:I:I
The back is now stripped bare, all the ally is in my van waiting to get weighed in and a mountain of wood in a pile next to it, it looks so bare lol
Found half a dozen Doves nests, a fly's nest, a bat that made a hasty exit and about a dozen big beautiful butterflys under the engine cover!
Found the original jack and got the front end up enough to get the front wheels off and put 2 pumped up tyres on. The back has no wheel arches......just big holes where they should be,(man made this way coz the floor) The floor had timber and carpet and then on top of that a timber frame with a second floor, making it 5 inches higher than normal. Suprisingly the chassis and floor is not too bad...probably better than Bluebell's
Got the plugs out and poured diesel in chambers to soak in
left the back on blocks and brought the back wheels home to change tyres as were badly split
before I started swapping tyres about I tried to tow it out of the dips in the floor where the tyres were flat and it has sunk into the ground (about 10 years it has stood) Wouldn't budge. The back wheels turn freely but the fronts are solid....whacked the drums quite hard with a club hammer but they won't free........What do I do now please??
