Yes that is one strong possibility, I was a bit worried about that option (for fear of being frowned upon by fellow Commerades, but the feedback re; doing this seems quite positive)

Equally though that option seems to pull at the old heart strings if someone else had the enthusiasm or desire to save it from that fate, if that makes sense!
 
i knw what you mean and where your coming from, but as they say you cant save everyone and also please everyone, and if it means losing one van to save five others from the same fate then in my eyes thats a good thing. ( I THINK I BETTER GO TO SLEEP WITH ONE EYE OPEN FOR THE NEXT FEW NIGHTS NOW IVE JUST SAID THAT) HAHA:p;)

Well I guess it would make sense from our point of view, like you said the roof, doors etc and help others with parts we don't need.

Indeed, and I have to admit that cornering on the back of a tow truck is about as much cornering my other Bluebird has done during the last four years.. (with that poor centre of gravity being even worse than normal!)

At last....The Doves have moved out!!

We are going to go and do a recon Monday eve, see quite what will be involved, not sure it will get up the lane height wise on the back of a lorry, might have to drag it up the lane with my van first..
 
Bless the couple it belongs to, they are in thier 80's and they said we can have it and the only price is we keep them updated on what we do with it, they don't mind if we restore it or break it up as donor to help you lot!

wait til we get it here then we can look properly, we might even put the back of Bluebell onto it lol

Exactly... i glad someone thinks along the same lines as me :) We'll see once we have it here. The back will be scrapped pretty much straight away, just so the front garden doesn't end up looking like a scrap yard lol
