now I've lost my snozzle

Days out are great, but something always either stops working or falls off!! Having sorted my heater issue earlier, I noticed when home, something unusual behind the front grill, which turned out to be a metal pipe which has come away from the heater box inside the camper on the left hand side, and dropped down past the grill. This is now makeshift cable tied back in place as the connection has rusted away, but I am curious what this can be, and if it's detachment could be responsible for the mystery water appearing in the cab? Any thoughts?

Heater boxes are notorious for rusting away not sure what it is though. If it was a pipe come away completely the whole of the engine water would have gone so not sure really...strange

Ahh just thought...it will be the drain from the heater box...should have a rubber end on it...that would explain water in the cab when it rains as water would drain into the cab instead of outside. No easy fix I'm afraid as no one makes them, Martin had a go once but so complex it was cost prohibitive

That pipe that's fallen off should have a rubber end with a slit in it , you squeeze it occasionally to drain the water off - or the heater rots away:(
a well used phrase on here is dont forget to squeeze your bulbous end:eek:
