Notts/Lincs Commers

Thanks for the welcome. Was a good mix of cars (and vans of course!) Not sure what my favourite was. Liked the Mk2 Escort (reminds me of my first car), and the R12 was a real rarity.

Thanks to Mrs Moley for showing me round Brian. First time I've really looked in a Commer in any depth. Its a beauty!

All being well, see you there next month. Hopefully in the Opel GT :)

Rare, but not as rare as my R17's.

The R17 is a very beautiful, very French car. I love anything with that 70's Coupe shape. I was born in the wrong era I think! :I:D

Last R17 I saw was at the Retro Show about 5 years ago and was in the car park!!!

Although as a taxpayer I guess a 60,000,000th of it does actually belong to me... Hmmm.....
 
I'll be there, I'm bringing the Minx out for a run, she went straight through the MOT today, not bad considering shes only done 8 miles in a year... need to use her a bit more I guess, but that means I can't use Brian:( lifes hard at times isn't it:D[8D]:I:D

Congratulation on MOT time. 8 miles though??? it's more than that for me to get to the MOT station!!

I know I'll be in something different as the bits for the Astra haven't turned up. If the GT doesn't spontaneously combust again and decides it's going to start and doesn't do any of the other stupid things its been doing this year then it may, may just get there!!

Yes you guessed right, the Minx is stored away from home at the moment and the 8 miles was from the storage to MOT and back into storage, I've been out for a drive in her tonight and she has now covered more mileage in a day than I managed in a year. She's just coming up to 40,000 miles not too bag as shes 52 years old now.
