nothing to do with commers!

Hello folks,

Further adventures of Compton Down Railway and what's been keeping me busy recently...

This is Dads' collection which is due to be sold off in April this year - totally without Commers I'm afraid...

Compton Down is a legacy left by my Dad who passed away last year... is one very serious garden railway very well known by those who are involved in such sports. The railway itself is mid-migrate but shots of it before the move are here...

The engines & rolling stock were all Dads - I have a few engines & wagons to keep & run and the rest will be sold to raise money for Mum to redevelop the back garden once buildings have all been rescued - they're too much for us to maintain on our own so Dads' wish was for it to go somewhere public.

Is a kind of auction - accepting sealed bids over a few weeks leading up to major garden railway show at Stoneleigh in April where they will go on display as an exhibit as only time collection will appear in public together in one place. Will be sad to scatter them but a lot of loving homes for them to go to out there:)
