Not much progress on the cars, I've been having withdrawl symptoms since selling my share of the narrowboat, so have gone and built myself a radio control narrowboat. Not quite finished, but had its maiden voyage this weekend and didn't sink! [^]

Get yourself a full size one!, just spent a week navigating the four counties ring on a 70 footer, somewhat bigger than the last un.Hoping to get out into wales soon on another.Great way to get away! :D

It's a full size one I've just sold (well 58 foot anyway). :(

If you are heading into Wales try and avoid the school holidays if you can, but it is well worth it. Our boat used to be based at Wrenbury on the Llangollen. Although not the prettiest bit, there are some interesting looking breakers yards at Whixall Moss by bridge 44. ;)
 
HI am watching this very carefully coz i think RAN needs some company!! and the commer bug has bitten, its only a couple of miles from where i work so hoping to have a peep
 
Hello all I have just bought the aforementioned bus, I have the exciting but slightly dubious task of taking a train from Hull to kent and then driving (very slowly) back to Hull in my new pride and joy, Nice to meet you all and I am sure you will hear a lot from me in the not too distant future.
