Hello Mr Big Bad Woolf [}]. The 'no problem' was about posting pics as you are a little too far away for me to nip round to give you a lift. You can send pics if you like and I will post for the usual fee , unless you've already sent to Studio of course.
I was thinking about your dilemma of working on the drive and I woke up one morning with the seed of an idea, have you seen the frames made by 'Mr Grumpy' for turning Morris Minors over for welding [?]. I was wondering if this could be adapted for a PB and a frame made from angle iron to fit into the rear door aperture and be secured using the door hinge mounts. The frame could include diagonals meeting in the middle and welded to a central piece of tubing about 3" in diameter. A similar frame made to fit inside between the front door pillars with the same diagonal and central tube arrangement. With the windscreen removed a scaffolding pole could be be passed right through the two frames and the van could be suspended on two stands and rolled over for easy access to the underneath for welding. Just another one of my mad ideas but I'll sketch it out for a better explanation of what I mean.

I'm not blessed with Studios talent for sketching but I think this will give you an idea of what I meant and confirm to everyone that I am totally daft . Just imagine it woolfy no more pebble dashed back and you could use it as a giant tombola for charity events

Nothing wrong with that sketching, of course if you connect skewer pole through to engine block starting handle 'ole - you could start 'er up and use petrol power to spin it round!
Think it would be tricky to figure out where centre of gravity was to get it to balance, could be hours of fun[)]

With the engine out and all the running gear stripped off it probably wouldn't be too far off. I think it would be an idea to set the rear frame center lower just in case. Wouldn't want it to be to finely balanced as it would spin round in the wind like a huge garden novelty [:0]
It would beat the heck out of having a garden gnome for originality.

They do these; but slightly different in design.
They are bloomin expensive except this one time when a chap was sellign one for £50 in PC! And you can get them for vans
In fact I spoke to these guys... they said it would definitely do it (the expensive one) I would consider buying a share of one of these!

i think thats a great idea admin ive seen them at all the classic car shows and they look great, i think we should( CLUB )together,< DO YOU GET IT. and by one between us so that if anyone needs to repair their van they can. if i remember rightly the one thing you do have to do when using these devises is that you have to drain off all your petrol tanks to stop spillage. im up for it anyway.
im up for it anyway.infact admin could you give me a call sometime this week as i want to talk to you about setting up a page or something on here about selling my panels, i could do with some nice photos taking for everyone to see,we could even set up a little shop or somthing if we used our heads and sold not only panels but t shirts jumpers drinking mugs and other merchandice
