hi im in the market for a commer (sold the vw) and ive seen a advert on here for a commer in wiltshire

COMMER DODGE 1978 petrol, overhead sleeper

what i need to know is what this year and model will look like before i travel 180 miles to view it??

its the one advertised in the classifieds on this forum, i spoke to the guy but he doesnt do modern technology (emails n all that)and his description made no sense at all to me. LOL

any help would be greatfully received, or any of you who know of more commers for sale would be great AS I NEED ONE KNOW!!!!!

Hi Lee,welcome to the mad house :Dgood decision I sold my vw too[}:)] you could try asking the seller if it has a plastic grill(spacevan)or chrome as in commer(my van is chrome but dodge badged 1977 jubillee year)have a pen in your hand when you phone.
also ask what conversion is it?actually can you bump the add up so I can see which one it is cos i couldn't find it.

Just phoned said it has 44,000 genuine miles so is in reasonable condition,didn't seem to know a lot[:0]no-one with computer [:0]but will send some pic's to my mobile later,if they are any good will post them here.

There maybe something similar out there but the nearest you are likely to get quickly is an Autohome (similar to the one you phoned about but with the chrome grille cab) a Jennings or, most popular, a Highwayman. Try using the search function on the top right and see what pops up.
