Newark Autojumble

Hi All,Went to Newark today and saw these two proudly displayed amongst all the classics on show. Does anyone know of either of these vans?

I like the green one, very unusual :p I know the red one PYG, it belonged to guy from Doncaster, who dealt in british motorbike spares. I bought some Commer bits from him a couple of years ago. It was a Royal Mail van, If I remember right, he put a Diesel in it. He had a load of new panels that he welded to it and not very well [V]
 
yes dying to know,before I bought any of my commers I came across one(on ebay) which had previously been used for pole dancing,for stag nights!but the pole was inside the van :I what is it??

I think the pole may be part of the plumbing. Could be an early version of the power-shower, connect it to a convenient fire hydrant (every good campsite has one) and blast away. Most invigorating, would take the hide of a highland cow in less than a minute [:0];):D

I don't rightly know what the pole is for, the guy who 's van it was,didn't appear while i was looking round it. I must admit it did puzzle me too.

Red van belonged to Alan Wright of Doncaster[ Always wears a boiler suit, wears glasses and has a beard].
He bought some ex HOC Spares years ago after Club Van 'Dobbin' was badly vandalised and had to be scrapped. Alan had a new late front panel and a laminated screen. Last I heard Alan's brother had died. As far as I am aware Alan still has the van and still jumbles
