That's amazing given that max normal 240v motor is 3hp. 10kw is 13.41hp, that's a power factor of over 4[:0] You could sell it back to the grid ;)

Yep, well pleased with it [8] Not sure about the full details as there is no plates on either, but the 240 motor looks about 3-4hp and it was powering a 10kw machine easily. Maybe attach some welding leads to it and start shipbuilding on the side :D
Oh a great many heads will be skimmed Panky ;)

Took a bit of sorting out as the wiring on the mill was wrong, but it's up and running well. The generator hardly notices it :p

I was trying in vain to teach Oliver to 'skim' stones at the beach the other day to no avail! ....will get there eventually;)
