New regulations.

I received a tax reminder for my can and noticed there is going to be no m.o.o required for any vehicles that were registered before the 1`st of January 1960. Does this benifit anyone?

There was a lot of debate on this a little while ago and the general consensus was that it was a bad idea. A lot of people wonder what the insurance companies will think of it, will they insist on some sort of annual inspection - how much will that cost[V] and what happens if you have an accident- will they use the no MOT as an excuse not to pay out? I think Martin M owns the oldest Commer on here, a 1960 (I think) fire engine so no campers that old.

If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?

As far as I know, there is only 1 '59 in existence. I look forward to being proven wrong tho';)
The butchers van is older than the fire engine, by about 1400 on the chassis numbers.
