Love the look of this van Andrew :) I really love them original internal light fittings reminds me of my marbles. Just because I'm in the fire protection business I can't see what form of extinguisher it is at the back but it needs to be a foam (aff) and not powder as I've seen in other vans.:D

lovely van I like the windows they open outwards don't they
how long have you had it ?

Hi, i`m so glad you all like my van. All of the materials i used to refurbish were from my local resource centre and cost me about £15. The table was from a kitchen set, i have just rounded it off. The windows open outwards from little catches. I have had the van since the middle of October. The fire extinguisher is foam, it was off ebay.

It's lovely[^] but a nice set of silver on black number plates would set it off nicely[8D]

I've got a Halon one - will that do? :) cannot recommend having an extinguisher enough - put out the Yori fire with one and now I carry two - one for the engine one for the living area.

Woodstar do you supply said extinguishers (chrome and foam)

I don't but when I'm next at the office I'll see where we get are's supplied from and see what the best price you can get them for and post this info up for all !

Hi John just read again your last message and on my extinguisher course a halon extinguisher is band and only the army who is aloud these and so my teacher said any one else court with or using a halon extinguisher is charged with same as some one court with a unregistered fire arm [:0][?] these are out of service and have been for some time which would also suggest it has not been serviced for some time which is also a must for the safety of the extinguisher and the user.i would suggest you take it to a approved extinguisher company and ask them if they know what you need to do with it or if they could take it. I don't mean to be going to deep with this but I know and have seen what can happen when a extinguisher is in a dangerous condition or when people buy cheap ones from china. Engineers and users have lost hands,Brocken arms, lost eye sight and so on[B)][:0] best thing with any1 who has a extinguisher don't leave it in site of the sun and if you were to ask any fire protection company in your area if you were able to bring your extinguisher into them so they could service it, I'm sure they would. pay no more then £5. it should be less but as its just 1 maybe 2 they may charge more.it should take all of 5min..... I tell you what I will start a new topic next week and do a full list of whats what when it comes to extinguisher :)

Apparently you are able to call your council mad they can advice you on what to do or where to take a halon extinguisher its only a or fence if you use it [xx(]

another item to carefully place in the zompocalyse bunker then.... mine is from a jag I owned for about 4 weeks to get the obvious parts off for the van.
