New on the auction site starting with e

Looks pretty good, but despite what the badge says it's not an Auto-sleeper:rolleyes:

I have spoken to them and it appears to be a home conversion. There is very little interior and the windows are very strange.

No matter it still looks very nice and solid. As the listing says it's a clean sheet to do what ever you want - and a bit quirky too:cool:

We were planning on going to see this on Friday but just got a call from the owner saying it has been sold for £4.5K, gutted this the third we've missed! :( ah well, sights set on the next one.... We will find out perfect van....

Hi all (I am new) Thought I would comment on this as well (if thats OK) I was trying to view this since I noticed it at the weekend - Spoke to the chap on Sunday and was told 3K would get it, I got the funds in place and called Monday to arrange a viewing, by Monday night the figure was change to 4K but the chap was busy Tuesday (and had not collected it from the Farm where it was being stored) I noticed this afternoon he had sold it so I contacted him to find out how much it went for (for ref really) and was told 4K to a bloke from Leeds who had 15 commer vans (different models) So I would guess someone on here got it!

Anyway nice site and yea I am looking for one!

There must be, after losing out n this one we emailed MM to see if he had or know of any for sale (figured he was The Guy to ask), apparently all his are 'major projects', not how I'd describe that one.... Beginning to feel these compulsive Commer collectors are just being selfish and preventing the rest of us fro enjoying them! Lol

The problem is lots of you want vans but do nothing about them, then when sold just moan about it I say if you want one that bad and one comes up for sale its first come gets it. job done no good moaning if some one else gets it,

That's a tad harsh... Spent a huge amount of time communicating with the vendor, just unable to physically get to Notts sooner due to work commitments! Frustrating in this instance as we'd booked leave to get there before the auction was over but it didn't run its course.

You need to get a stronger hoover ......
or travel , found our wee jem in Holland , seller was an honest Dutchman :cool:who kept it for a few weeks till we could get over , there was a lot of people after it so we were very lucky , also bought rashly off e-bay and cost us dearly.
Sellers often" take off" vans early .
Best to speak to Martin who might know of a van for you
One will turn up for you ;)

I looked for two years before I found the van we wanted, but had to pass it over due to moving house the same week. :( Then I looked for two more years for the right spec van to come along again. We dropped everything for an 800 mile round trip:eek: to view, bought it, and had to have it trucked home. Result!

It always seems like the one you've missed is the last one in the universe, but there's always another.

You have to get serious, but best of luck anyway.

Best of luck. I concur on the search. I spend months searching, went to meet a number of forum members at a car show and had a good look around many vans. Learnt lots and took a plunge. Anyone down south welcome to visit (but sadly not selling)...

Can be sore being the guy who missed out. When you are the one who didn't you don't care! A few of us missed Mr Rusty's dutch dream machine - and I bet a few felt they were owed it too after a lot of dragged out communications too! All is fair in love and war - now I'm the guy hoarding as I got 3. Saying that i'm only looking after them for someone else... one day...

Bought my motor home from eBay. Cost more to ship than I paid for the van then bought my camper from the forum again cost more to ship than I paid. Again you have to be quick.

I didn't have much trouble getting my commer, came up on eBay and I went slightly over budget but it's been worth it.

My mate bought my dodge off of eBay for £550 and spent another £200 having it trailered down to his place. His plans changed and he tried to sell it but no one was interested, nothing from eBay! I bought it off of him for £200, it's totally solid! Runs and drives. Just needs a clutch master cylinder and some rear lights connected amongst other things. Nearly there though.
