New Member - Advice Needed

Mr Maltas has already looked at the van and gave his approval :),

ask Les about labour charges :D and then the panels , really think you have a bargain there , and a great investment for your family.
good luck:)

Finally got me an avatar......:)

No offense but everyone I know has got a safari screen VW and I want something cheaper and and more unusual! However if i had enough money in the bank I probably would be tempted by a 1950s split screen. I spoke to Rich Macreadies today and I'm going to look at the van next saturday with the intention of parting with some hard earned cash as long as its in a reasonable condition and it drives....

All you have to do is have a look at the thread for Lulu in the Readers Rides to find out how much of your hard earned cash you will be parting with, depending on where you take it.[:(!][:0][V]

Then you will realise you should have gone for a Splitty after all!

No offence taken, by the way:)

Hi hubbell and welcome, good luck with your new van. I have owned a commer for over two years now. I have done a lot to her, but there's still a little way to go. I am eventually going to re spray her. The most important part for me is taking her out and having fun. I have very little experience with a project like this, but with lots of help from the forum I am learning quick. I had a few problems with the back panels, they were full of rust and had been covered in filler. Enjoy it.
