Bessie has a new feature! (possibly not the most useful)

Rain here has been so heavy that windscreen and heater box have both let lots of water in - running into vents inside and out so now you can start driving with a slightly blurry windscreen, switch the fans on and it helpfully blows a thick fog all over the glass - I'm thinking of calling it my Remister:I[:0][|)]

I don't think it will catch on somehow so will probably have to dry it all out and revert to original purpose, ah well - back to the drawing board:D

oh dear [:0] when I get in ran with kids in tow I say (shout)open the window before you shut the door ! it's bad enough when I am on my own,when ran is full it's sometimes like someones just had a shower in there!driving down the road a couple of miles usually does the trick :D

It would be very useful for stripping wallpaper, assuming you'd wallpapered inside Bessie :)

mmmmmm, no hadn't wallpapered - interesting thought - would have to be in keeping with age of van......[8D]

hello everyone just a few quick notes before i go and listen to my pillow, to say we are alright at the mo but my valeter who lost his mobile home in the last flood is now at very close risk to losing his temporary caravan home as well, his wifes been in tears all day, all just a tad too depressing to think about it too long, for all you wimpeys and other mass home builders a big thanks for destroying peoples lives. thanks for the kind words people and see you all soon in better circumstances and moods
 
I really hope everything is OK CharlieC, the memories of the last 'damp' spell are still fresh. We've been lucky here, loads of rain but only a soggy lawn and slightly musty garage to show for it. We seem to be in one of those weather cycles you hear about, it'll be six foot snow drifts in a couple of years and then we will be stricken by drought again and we'll be praying for rain, but not at the moment. Not much fun welding your van lying on your back in six inches of water but it's got to stop some time :I Regards to Mrs C.C. n' The Pea.

I've just got back from a trip to South Wales to visit my son and there was an awful lot of water about. My parents in Lincolneshire are on flood alert. I do hope you are all ok.
