Thats a spiral battery fitted to a lot of the chrysler range (eg pt cruiser etc) and jeep models. They are for the more modern charging system I would say so just go for 096 or a 100 these are uk battery ref numbers so any motor factors will be able to sort you out with one.
ere Jon show us yer Transit pics! Would love to see the full set-up and livery! is it the very same one you restored?
Yeh its the same one I restored there are two pics on "the transit mk5" in other projects. Its got an on board compressed air system that I designed and runs off the engine by means of a belt and an air con clutch. It takes 2mins 15seconds to produce 8bar of pressure on engine idle, and maintains it so you can run an air cut off tool(which use loads of air) If you increase the rpm of the engine you can half the time it takes to get to 8bar Its also got an on board 110/240v generator that runs off the engine and doubles up as a welder!
Ive racked it out with bott racking and fitted a rapid deployment trailer as well for the ones you cant fix straight away
Started work on my mk2 transit now its rotten! or should i say it was
