NEC Classic Car Show 12th 13th 14th November 2010

Pootle, Clarabel and TV detector were willing volunteers. I asked Panky because I cannot think of a longer thread on the forum that represents what we are all about, someone renovating their van with a few choice mods and a lot of hard work!
 
Now we need to work out the stand. The theme this year is 'Records' as in Guiniess type records or Vynyl [?] Any suggestions [?]

rock and roll, seeing as the vans are from that era, the girls could dress up in polke dot skirts ect and the guys in rockabilly type clpoths from that era, you could then have a record player playing rock and roll music in the back ground and maybe a mini dance floor, with some big cardboard cut out circles painted to look like records hanging over head ect. or maybe a little scene of people from that era having a picknic whilst listening to rock and roll on the radio.?;):p

Surely a production run of 23 years must be a record in it's self, as a spacevan is only a commer underneath.
Is there anything we could do to utilise this, maybe how the commer forward control evolved[?];) Any suggestions?

As the organiser of the "stand next door" can I ask if you plan to have a backscreen blocking us "The Hillman Owners Club" off? I hope not - I have filled in all my forms and think it would be better if we are open plan...... anyway I may have a Commer on the HOC stand in it's restored glory (fingers crossed):p

The organisers manual says we have to co-operate and be nice to each other [}:)];)
