Some of the names people call themselves are fairly obvious like Woolfy but some are not so easy to sort out. I have used Lulu because thats what my van is going to be called. So if your name is not so easy to work out, such as Enigma, how about telling me why you have decided to use that name. No special reason it's just that I'm a right nosey sod.

its my name robert edward james hall (2 denotes that my original membership has an old email address that we cant change so had to set up a new membership as a new starter again)

could not think of a more boring answer than that

fontaine is still registered with the original owner (jon) of fontaine so that was out

Name's Barry which has always been shortened to Baz or Bazza. When I worked in Acton I was 'famous' for knowing every street, tower block, location etc on the ground. So, instead of looking in the London A-Z Gazeteer colleagues just called me up and asked me, I then became known as the Bazzateer.

Well Comm-Don was my first sign on which was a little play on words thing (Condom) Obviously the 'Comm' part referencing a Commer.
Then i realised i posted so much drivel i was about to become an 'Advanced Member' to which i though at the time wasn't worthy of the status being that all i ever posted was sillyness:D
I was congratulated on almost becoming an 'Advanced Member' so i thought 'NO WAY', this is no competition so i changed my sign on and registered a new account as 'Comm - Pete' obviously keeping the 'Comm' part and using the 'Pete' part as it looked like yet another name....You still following me??? So anyway, i have been Don/Pete cheekily using the Pete part as reference to 'Compete' As is 'Competition!
When this sign on was about to become 'Advanced Member' again i then switched usernames at the 1999th post and then it all became confusing and a bit of a joke hence my current 'Comm-Mikal' (Comical) again, keeping the 'Comm' part and using another real name as the second part 'Mikal'

Strange the way names evolve. Although I was born in Liverpool we moved to a little Yorkshire village called Sedbergh when I was about 6 years old. My elder brother was known as "big scouse" and I was of course "little scouse" and these names stuck with us all the time we lived in Sedbergh. When I was in the fire service I was labelled with a very rude nick name which I shall not divulge on here, and now of course, thanks to Harry Hill's TV Burp, I am known locally as "The naked gardener" I wonder what will be next.

Fontaine is named after Joan Fontaine and as the name of the van it was right to call ourselves that.....at the time!

mine? ..well my nickname has been Enigma for years...some of my friends call me Mr E (mystery) or just 'E' or Big E ! ...:D i thnk it started coz I used to quite secretive:D
