well apart from a quick drive round the block I hadn't driven Tigger until we went to meet Moley...by the time we got there the noise had vanished? ...when I started it cold next morning the noise was back...for about 5 seconds then it vanished again....when I started it from cold again today, there was no noise at all....strange me thinks??

Might have been a bit of grease in the wrong place which has now burnt off? Good news anyway. Now you can come to Coventry!

Spare a Commer Guv?
If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?

decided that due to the clutch kit being NOS and the thrust bearing being the older roller bearing type, that it has somehow dried out a bit....4-5 seconds after starting the engine the noise stops, I reckon the small amount of grease left warms up and moves more freely...silly me for not greasing it before I fitted it:)
