love the colours aint it the same colour as the one in beaulieu museum? Interesting that beaulieu didnt have a VW when i visited, just a gorgeous commer. They did have a Citroen DS which i fell in love with, when im old and grey im gonna get one, hey i am old and grey, DOH...... where is this cambridge meet ?

Having some electrical gremlins sorted (lack of charging, wires that heat up too much... or rather at all!) and halogens put in...

It's really touch and go chris; the battery isnt getting enough charge at the mo and there are still some electrical gremlins (speedo, temperature, hot wires under the dash!!) that I really want sorted before doing this trip.

Fingers crossed most of it can be fixed tomorrow!

Oh no[V] I really need to see this van. I want to sit on the rear step and drink beer - I think it will be the standard that all others will aspire too - in a mild custom/slightly away from original king of way:I.

Its all shake down issues - I've done about 200 miles now and something always needs a tweak (sometimes from the AA!!!!) will be disappointed if I cant make it in the van but will still attend early on Sunday if it gives me extra time or in a modern car.

and if it doesnt make it I promise I will share more pictures as you've all waited long enough

The shakedown thing is the norm John :I I have to do it with every van. The best way is a nice long run north, then at least it's down hill all the way back ;)

gearbox is stuffed - will be seeking a replacement tomorrow but highly unlikely to find it and fit it in time to get to the meet

Admin, sorry to hear you're having problems, I've sent you an email about a gearbox that's available - don't know if you've got a standard engine or not?
