Just fitting all the heater box back in managed to find a good one out the ones ive got;) give it a good thick coat of smoothrite to protect it and have since fitted a new foam pad to the flap part.

I think you should keep it like it is.

Would be the only ex-works Commer in existence. Most folk wouldn't even know that this variant ever existed - before being told that this would have been the base for many a commercial variant during the 60s and 70s.

Just mount these rear lamps on the back in that funny position, and you've got the real deal ;):D:p
 
cracking job john boy top job. i love the colour, who did you use for the paint finish in the end may i ask.as i keep getting let down by my guys. looking at the colour it cold almost have a milk float back on it , like the one that you could get as a toy from matckbox,im sure it was a similar green. fantastic work mate keep it up.;):p

Thanks guys its having a rootes pick up dropside body on it,same as the one that sold for 4grand on here.Woolfy ive got a good friend that owns his own paint shop round the corner from me its called paintworx very good rates and paints alot of ferrari and maseratis so his very good;)

Ordered all the steel for it today pick it up sat morning. Hope my little modification works out to,just checking dimensions and axle weights at the min;)
