My other loves - What's yours?

I started out with pre-war Hillmans and with my Dad being a lorry driver I liked lorries aswel, the sound and look of the old Commers really got me.

I'm still into the cars but my Commer and Karrier Bantam are really something special to me.

If we are hi-jacking into first cars - mine was a maroon HB Viva SL90 - £50 from the local auction. Just missed out on an Imp that went for £115, too much for me:I and a totally immaculate Rover P5B for £500 and a White Daimler 250 V8 with wire wheels for the same money on the same night[V]

my first car was an opel record coupe (don't see many of them now!) followed by an MG1300 and then an Allagro with the square steering wheel[xx(]

Quite a few Vauxhalls as first cars, mine was a 76 Chevette 4 door.

:) My first car was a Ford Cortina Mk11 1300 £90.00 in 1976, had it for 3 days then some toerag nicked it and parked it in a bus shelter [:(!] Then I got a HA Viva ;)
