You have been busy, looking a bit tidier:). What's that you've used for insulation on the inside?

the insulation under the wood is the stuff you use under laminate flooring, i had some left kicking about in shed. there are three bits of welding i need to do before the floor goes down but it needs to go down to my mates workshop and on the ramp for him to do that and he will m.o.t it for me at same time just as soon as i get wheels and tyres for it. Whats the widest tyres you can fit on a commer anyone know, i was thinking 215/55x15 on rover p5 rostyles.

We are currently running:

215/R15 Kumho M+S on the front,
255/75/R15 Kumho Road Venture AT on the rear.

On standard rims:)

Juut got commer insured £69, what a bargin, from RH insurance, m.o.t on thursday at 3.30pm wish me luck. Then its on the road. Not done much on it this week been at work but got a 5 day weekend so will be able to get on with it then.

I'll try them again next time, they quoted me a lot more than that[V]

Just finish a long night shift, off to bed now, then up at 3pm to take "mini wini" for her mot (if i can sleep that is). Insurance is 5000 miles limited and value of £3000.

OH NO, it failed on 1 bit of welding, rear brake uneven, n/s/f brake little efort, head lamp aim too low and front brake imbalanced. Not too bad beens its been sat for a while. Get it sorted over the weekend and retest monday or tuesday. Ye insurance is fully comp and 3000 limited miles a year.

Sorry Pank if the question about the mileage was for us - yes 3000 miles limit we had on ours.

Thanks guys, it was a general question to all but I don't understand why they quoted me more, same policy, same van, garaged, reasonable post code, ahem....experienced driver and full no claims. I have had one claim in the last five years so I guess it must be that - even though my no claims is protected.

Bizzare creatures these Insurance scammers guys! The only thing we didn't have is a guarenteed value. We've the renewel through and it is the same again - but not needed now [V][:0]
