My mid-life crisis

Chris, no that wasn't me passing the Colonel, I would have stopped and said hello!

Tim, no it's not supercharged, but it's quite quick enough for me!

Yes, fuel charges are high, but I cycle to work, so avoid short journeys which are worst. So far, with slightly enthusiastic driving I am averaging 20mpg! I hope to improve this as I as the novelty wears off and I stop using the sport button!

I've always loved the E-type, but that will always be a dream, but the price of these has made them affordable. I have been looking for a long time time now and have seen a lot of poor ones. This one is a 2001 model (just before the change in the road tax rates), has 87,000 miles on the clock and a full Jaguar service history. Fortunately, half a mile from my house is an independant Jaguar mechanic who will service it.

We have had some family tragedies since Christmas, job security is a thing of the past and I thought what's the point of waiting, just do it. So I did!

I like your style Chris, life's too short to worry about fuel prices - there are far more important things to worry about like the duty on red wine and - WHY YOU DIDN'T BUY A COMMER INSTEAD[:0]
