My Jennings has moved..!!

All of about 2 feet but having not moved in nearly 12 years that is quite an achievement. Both rear wheels were locked on but with much persuasion they are now free. Both front wheels hadn`t become locked on which was a surprise/bonus. So now I can get it moved to my unit and decide on its future. My question is what type of sockets and spanners do I need to add to my motorcycle friendly metric sizes. Imperial, AF, Whitworth and BSF spring to mind but no idea what applies to a 1966 Commer. Many thanks, Guy.

Good grief, you could have broken that to me a bit more gently;)
AF is your friend, there maybe some odd sizes around the steering and suspension so a selection of Whitworth won't do any harm. I usually rummage around in my ancient socket set that has just about everything for something that fits:rolleyes:

I have a small ammo box full of AF spanners and sockets. There may be a 13mm in there too.. you never know. I find that is substantial for 90% of the time.

Apologies for the shock to the system Panky, I`m quite amazed myself. To be fair the credit for freeing off the wheels must go to my step-son, I`ve had a bad back so wasn`t a huge help. As for the spanners many thanks both for the info. As mentioned previously once it`s at my unit I can decide upon its future but really do hope it isn`t beyond repair. Rather oddly I actually had a dream the other week that I was driving it, a fantasy more like my wife commented when I told her :) :) :) More updates soon..!!

I actually had a dream the other week that I was driving it.
When I've driven our Jennings a long distance (usually late at night), then go to sleep (once safely at home!), I sometimes dream about driving it. The dream is always the same, and involves me not getting on the brakes early enough in some kind of emergency. This dream is trying to tell me something perhaps.:)
