Hi you guys Ive taken the photos off of my better half because it was causing a bit to much attention on here!!! You lot need to get out more haha! All nice comments though they were & no offence caused by the way.
They are harmless they like fine cars fine wine and most of them have fine wives I can't believe you removed those pic's [:0]
There is one of me some where with a bit of a builders bum :I
Wow Scott that is one nice van...I think I saw that book in a bookshop in Glastonbury last year.It is top drawer mate. You are very lucky. Love everything about it and would love a roofrack like that.
Haha cheers Simon Le Bon yeah when he put on a few pounds in the 1990's you mean.
Yeah about my van only been out once this year been doing the brakes for the MOT but only get sat mornings so its taken all summer because I'm a novice but I've learned loads. Going to try snd do at least one sunday every month till spring but only day trips not overnight. Plenty to do round here though isnt there. Clumber park, Rutland etc pretty central for everywhere. How about you?..A poss meet up maybe sometime?
Oh yeah no reason why the wipers are down apart from they dont return to the top when you turn them off they just seem to stop where you stop them (if you know what I mean)
Lovely van, love the mustard colour, mine is very similar but a lighter yellow, called Maisy. Does yours have a name? I'm from Newark, Notts, are you local?
We haven't done much to our van really apart from the interior, i.e cushions and soft coverings etc. Would be ace to meet up with you somewhere too. Need to get the clutch mended first though as it karked it one week after the Coventry meet:-(
Hi Helena yeah Grantham but I work near Newark.Do you live in Newark itself? wow didnt know some of you guys were so close. Shes kinda called Beryl (the peril) but not my doing. First vehicle I've called by a name but getting used to it now. Do you know Scott?
Think my wipers are fine thanks mate.
Good luck with the clutch Scott hope you have somewhere warm & dry to work. Your van is the same as the corgi camper model if I'm right. Let us know how you get on.
I have somewhere very dry and warm mate.......My home, whilst the mechanic at my local garage does it HAHAHA! Sod doing a job like that, i wouldn't know the first thing to do unfortunately:-( so it's 4+ hrs labour, charged at garage rate which stinks but hey ho, that's what you get for being a numpty i guess? Have you ever been to any club/meets before Si? i.e Bugjam/Classic Camper etc?
Yeah Ive come to the conclusion that I'm only going to do the things on our van I know I can do & leave the rest to the experts. No never been to any...wouldn't mind going to some though next year, I was kinda thinking of selling her at the start of this year but after spending so much time around her & going out again I'm well and truly bitten again. How about you have you been far?
