Mudguards

Anyone got any or seen anywhere, with a Commer logo.
Some went on ebay a few months ago, and I laughed at the ridicoculous price paid.
But never having seen any more perhaps they got a bargain...

Cheers

Sorry to say I've got a full set (not for sale just rubbing your nose in it [}:)]) for 50p each - about ten years ago. I wish I had bought the 3 foot high stack the autojumbler had then [V]

hi jules im in the middle of getting some of these made at the moment through one of my contacts,i should know very soon. they might not be quite like the originals though as they may have to have good commer sticher at the bottom instead or it etched into the rubber, but otherwise they are the same size and shape as originals. they will be priced around the £8-10 pound mark each i think.:p;)

sorry my spellings terrible that should have said, a good sticker at the bottom of the mud flap ,instead of it being etched or printed into the rubber. but I am looking into both methods.:p;)

Woolfy - you can go back in and edit your reply - no one will ever know, except for the line at the bottom that tells everyone that you have:I

Whoops that was me that paid the silly price but there brand new still wraped in the protective paper in the box! I just had to have them there goin on the pannel van when its finished:);)

Hi Gary
Thanks for that, I think they may well be for earlier larger Commer wagons than the PA. Maybe they can be modified. I have asked for dimensions.

Woolfy give me a shout when the flaps are ready, I may still be unsorted depending on time scale - are you talking weeks or months?
- I'm sure I am not the only one after these so I would have thought you could shift a few sets.

just to let you know that the new commer mud flaps will be available to buy as of next weekend from www.coventrycommerpanels.co.uk. rough idea of price wil be about £15-£20 pound mark for the pair. these will be made to the exact same shape and size as the original speck, but instead of the commer letters being pressed into the rubber they will have a very good sticker on the bottom of them. the good news is you can either have the word commer on its own or have commervanfan. the choice is yurs my friends. i will post up a picture next week sometime as soon as they arrive back to me.:p;)
