Thanks Panky, one of those nipples was a little awkward to grease so I will have another look. Regarding all the suspension bushes, along with greasing the nipples should I grease all the external parts aswell?

No, it's better to clean the excess off as it attracts dirt. As you can see I'm a lazy greaser:I

So the slight play will be down to the fact that there isn't enough grease inside the bushes? I greased them all so I suppose it's time for more grease. So the ball joint can't be greased, just eventually replaced?

The king pins will be worn but regular greasing will prolong them for a while yet, I had an advisory on one 4 years ago but they've not mentioned it since - I put a shot of grease in just before the MOT and it seems to stiffen them up a little. The ball joint will need doing before the next test as Martin says.

The advisories from my mot, there's no mention of the ball joint but I suppose it's included in the suspension. Will all these just need some more greasing?
