MOT Re-Test Tomorrow...

This is my van stranded at the MOT test centre....

I am still planning on coming to Pandy. I've ordered a new thermostat housing from Martin, so I should get that next week, and I'm going to strip the old one out this weekend weather permitting so then I can have a good butchers to see how extensive the damage is. I love challenge!
 
Good man. Weather permitting? you can work from the inside no matter what it's doing outside, don't be making excuses now;)

Wish you well hubbell, my van failed its first m.o.t when I had it and I was disappointed, a quick call to martin and it was sorted. What type of commer is your van?
 
No I didn't paint it. The previous owner got some Eastern Europeans to do it. It was probably a cheap ish job because the finish isn't all that great. But I'm not that bothered I like the colour and it looks pretty decent from a distance. There is a bay window vw up my road and the paint job on that is Stella. But if I had paint that good I'd be too worried to leave it parked up anywhere.

This what remains of the thermostat housing which caused all of the trouble on Friday. I'm waiting for the replacement to arrive from Martin. Then I need to fit it and then I need to test the van to make sure my repairs work and then I will book the MOT in hopefully for Thursday. I'm fully aware that time is not on my side but it is still possible if I receive the replacement thermostat housing tomorrow....
