MoT Day Again...

...Yes, went along to our friendly MoT testing station today for the annual test.

Quiet gentleman, wry smile.

Sorry about the camera shake but I need not have been too nervous[)]

PASSED

Just like all previous years since 2004, first time.

But this year feels different...

This year he gave an ADVISORY note...

Summer's Coming.....
Trust me

60's picture hangs at the garage and they didn't mind me snapping it, family owned for generations and hardly changed over the years, except for the vehicles and pumps.

Taxing tomorrow gives a simple pleasure, walking out of a Post Office with disc and no hard earned having exchanged palms[^]

Nice one greg, its like going to the dentist to have a tooth pulled when the old MOT time rolls up, the reason he has given you the advisory is so you can act now to stop further deteriation so get some old engine oil on the underside to stop the corrosion and some olive oil or duck oil on the body scabs if you cant afford a body shop to sort them out but watch your clothing on those areas! the steering box will at the least need the oil level regularly checked and topped up. Heres to the summer pankys been promising for soooooo long.:p

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labottomy!

Thanks folks.
Technically, the tax disc ran out last month, so off I cycled to the main post office, as our local one isn't powerful enough to issue them.
The lady chuckled at the thought that her family used to run one with a funny 'roof that goes up' thingy...

Suddenly, all that effort seems worthwhile[^]
However our sympathy does go out to all you Non-Historics out there...
