oh just to let you all know that a friend of mine called dave is coming over tomorrow afternoon to my place, ive known him for a while now and he has approched me and asked me to re make some body panels for his vans, i say the word vans because he has no less than , (are you ready for this)hes another martin maltas but in a different world, any way he has 12 j2 vans three of which are very rare indeed, because one of them was the police van that took ronny and reggie cray to prison, another use to belong to none other than sir cliff richard himself when he was a roadie. and he has many more. any way back to the top of the topic im going to start making austin and morris j2 panels aswell as the commer scene, he has some original panels to lend me to copy from as templates, the side sills arnt to dis simular to the commers . so watch this space. oh i will take a few photos of his fleet this week for you all to see.:p;)

I know a fella who makes panels for Morris J type vans, maybe you guys should get together and pool your resources?

hes a very nice fella called Iain. He had to move house a little while ago and hired a transporter to move his morris minor/marina collection. Now thats a good photo!

mmmm i didnt know this , my mate said they couldnt get any panels for the j2, i will have to look into it further.;):(
 
oh and just for the record monkey man i wasnt going to list the panels on the same web site, it would have been an individual site. but thanks for the info anyway and sorry for up setting anyone.[?]
 
hang on a minute ive just looked again at the guys web site and read which panels he makes , he says that he makes the front wings for the morris j type van. but the j2 doesnt have front wings. i think we a;)re getting our wires crossed here somewhere , i think he makes the panels for the older morris j type van and not the j2. but i will call him tomorrow to be sure[?]
 
nobody is upset woolfy :), thats a real good idea [^] j2,s are funky too. it will pay you to broaden your market, perhaps j4 panels too [?] they are unobtainable. dont know where you would find one to copy though :D

yeah no crossover! I just thought there would be some synergy thats all (and he has a wheeling machine for sale!)

How do you know Iain Chris? He made up some lovely spats for my minor (when I have a minor on the road I probably fit them!)
