Hi guys its been awhile been having trouble with new computor not being able to log on for weeks long story, but now all good ,, i think.

The new site is a bit different i just tried to add a photo, my auto elect came back and wired up the ignition threw on some plug leads primed the carb with some fresh fuel, turned the key pushed the starter and she fired up first go, i nearly fell over with excitment.

Congratulations, does your carb have an auto choke? For some reason I have always found Nissan/Datsun motors need plenty of choke to start when cold and the first few miles when you get going.

Thought I might have trumped you as I fired mine up yesterday, but yours has all the other bit connected that mine still needs doing, will add an update shortly

There's one that does the show circuit here in Scotland but very rare only seen that one .
 
We had a great weekend at the Gold coast Cooly Rocks festival there was about 4000 cars, vintage caravans, hot rods and the Morris was in her prime

OOOOOOOOOOOO we likes a bit of William Morris:cool: But I'm trying ti figure out why there's a computer chair dangling through the roof:confused:

Beautiful Oxford you have there, did you do the resto on that too? Hope you have a few suitable "very load shirts" to match the roof lining. Well done getting the exhaust out the rear, not a lot of space to play with down there. I considered it, but took the easy option.
 
The roof lining is a thin fabric material i bought the last time i went to Hawaii surfing and it is spray glued to thin bendable plywood i also bought the fabric for the seats and curtins yet to be made.

Yes it was a mission doing the exhaust flat on my back trying to hold, mark and tack weld into position
very frustrating when it all falls down on your head many many times, not much room as you said.

Hi guys just a quick update i got around to fit the rear seat / bed and finished the rear cupboard, this is the heavy material from Hawaii i love it.
My mate Johnno came around today and helped me do the timing and bleed the brakes, every little bit helps.

Well its been awhile to much work and not enough play, the auto sparky has been a few times and sorted out the dual battery and charger set up, the engine is sorted as well as the dash, taco, roof monitor, water pump/shower, ceiling lights, reverse lights and towbar wiring.
Had to rebuild the gearbox support bracket as the spare wheel hanger would not hang properly, what a pain but it's all good now

I have been sorting out the engine lid i have fitted a remote hood release mechanism and gas strut for ease of lifting as i made a center console to sit on top and as usual i made built it to last way to heavy.
