any info on what size / style of mirrors and were originally on the Highwayman?

I'm having two problems with the ones currently installed.
The screw head on the driver side mirror is gouging into the front seam when I open the door.
The passenger side one is mounted in such a way that the centre of the mirror is right in line with the rubber gasket of the cigarette window (do you call those little windows that in the UK?), so it's almost useless without doing some pretty funky hip hop moves.

I've trolled the archives page but haven't found a clear photo of the mirrors.

The brackets that fit to the door are pretty hard to find but you should be able to find something that can be adapted, The mirrors themselves are very similar to early Land Rover ones but as long as they fit on the arms then you can fit whatever you like

Check out Readers Ride Arthur. I put up a couple of photos at the weekend that show the mirror brackets. I'd just bought new mirrors shiny and off fleabay
