middle seat and sound proofing

hi out there in commer land i have recently joined the forum as i have recently purchased the beautiful Maise, she has done her first summer of love festival and off to the Isle of Wight friday, im desperately in need of a front middle seat colour is not important, or engine tray,also has anybody tried to sound proof thier van with any success, there are a lot of products out there some say space technology, any ideas thoughts would be welcome ...... regards captain chaos.

I am paying attention to answers to sound deadening as The Colonel has his lid off at the moment!
don't you do replacement to the original Martin?

Harvey has a bench seat and vinyl wheel arch covering - it does help. A tray on the engine cover and some carpet would improve things. Ditching the mechanical fan and fitting a lekky one works wonders too:)

This rather fetching beige, snake like, draught excluder from the £-shop cuts down on our intake roar quite effectively:D

commerjules, that has just got me smiling so much and although Maise has a fine engine which burns no oil, i will be tinkering with her with all the advice i have received carbs first then electric fan and also manifold wrap, mightly impressed with your engineering skills great read as well ....... Captain chaos
 
Hi tony, i have a middle seat bolted to the bonnet in black if your interested. Not too bad condition, should come up well with a scrub and a polish. Yours for a tenner if you want to collect it from dorset.

Hi Mark and Kirsty, wow yes please id really like to have the middle seat sorry for late reply have been to the isle of wight with Maise, i have a work mate who lives in dorset she could collect for me if you say where and when . many mant thanks Captain Chaos.
