I recieved a V11 with a leaflet

Just wondering if you are aware of this
what do we do if we have lots of SORN vehicles kept off road?

I noticed no search facility on there website [V]

Providing your sorn is kept in date, there is no requirement to insure the vehicle. If your sorn runs out, then you are legally required to insure and tax it [xx(] Bit of a nightmare keeping up with them, if you hade a few :I

As MM says Tim, if it's SORN they send a reminder just like the tax and you can re-SORN it on-line - easy really.

so a sorn vehicle doesn't have to be insured in all cases ? there info is confusing :I or is it just me [?]

No, a sorn vehicle is exempt from the new insurance rules ;)

My car has been off the road since the 1980s. I bought it in 2002 (I really should get on with the renovation or renaultvation), notified the DVLA and declared it SORN. I received the V5 from the DVLA, but have never had to declare it SORN since. I understand that any car off the road before the SORN regulations were introduced and not returned to the road since, does not have to have the SORN renewed.
