Hi Doug, carb is KIF44 from late model Rover Metro/100 1.4 this is the last incarnation of the SU carb and has lots of interesting features including temperature & altitude compensation and independent idle mixture control. I to make a manifold adaptor as the HIF intended by rover on the sherpa has 4 bolt fixing and three bolts on the metro.

I forgot to say that the standard Metro needle/jet/spring combo gave a slightly weak mix at small throttle openings and a little richer further open, but we'll within limits. Rolling Road chap was very happy with mixture. and in use I am too, she needs choke to start from cold but warms up quick, no petrol smoke or exhaust stains on garage wall/drive.
