Going for the big test fire up at the w/end.
She's a runner!
Fired straight up and sounds sweet, very little smoke, clutch, gearbox and diff all working well. Apart from a couple of minor
leaks, now fixed, it's just the fan not kicking in due to the wrong thermostatic switch and alternator not charging. Pulls very well too, i think we'll look for a 4.3 diff to replace the 4.7.

But does it open when you pull a handle?
We took out the standard Perky, this is a late 80s Pug 2.5D from an LDV400, which i've mated to a Lexus 6 speed.
A fight with the window catch ended with me having to make a new one in 316 stainless.
Don't suppose you still have the old one?
Sadly we didn't have a say, it got scrapped.
Oh well, had to ask. I like to keep a spare of these kind of things.
4.12 H/D diff now fitted. Much better, slightly overgeared, which can be adjusted on tyre profile.
Made a radiator recovery tank too.
